What's your answer???

How many kids do you want to have???
OKay so I am a littel curious about how your answer has changed through the years.
Here is how it changed for me:
As a teen: 5 just like my mom had
As a young adult: 7- so we could have enough for a baseball team and there is just something about the number 7 that I like.
After my first child: At least one more-but 7 looked horribly ugly to me as I was super sick preggos with Whitney.
After second child: Parenting became easier after Amber was born-I definitely could have 5.
After third child: Thankful to have 3-But wish I could have one more.
Right now: 4-if we have another girl. 5-if we get a boy next time around.
When I got married Joe wanted 1, I wanted 7. Since we reached 3 it's safe to say we have reached a compromise.
And FYI-we are not expecting-just thought I'd mention that before anyone asks.

Kids are definetly a lot of WORK!!! And a whole new perspective when you get them! I've always wanted 6, a good round #, but we will have to see. I really love where we are at with 4 and 2 of each, boys and girls. I would also LOVE to have 2 more girls. Time and my patience will tell!

I've always said, 4 or 5 maybe 6, NOT 7! We are now at 3 (two girls and a boy). Now, we think 5 is good.
Plus, if we move up to 6, we'd have to get a way bigger car. (Although, by that time, we could just get a bigger car for Andy to drive to work and I could still drive this one and Elizabeth will be old enough to sit in the front, assuming we don't get multiples. =)

Oh, this is tough. I always wanted 8. Now that I actually have children it is so much harder than I ever dreamed. Brian says we can't have more than 6 because he refuses to drive a big "mormon van". The hardest thing for me to realize is that I can't have babies forever. There's something sweet about having a baby in the home. I love, love, love the newborn stage. So, honestly, I have no idea. I try to be prayerful in this decision. If money, patience, sanity, space weren't an issue I'd have 10.

I always wanted 5 (just like my parents, and Jake's parents), and Jake says we are done now, (although I believe he's joking), so I guess the compromise woud be......5

We have had this discussion many times Arin..........:) When I was little it was 8. When Jeff and I were dating and then engaged we always talked about 6. As of now, it is 4. However, I would like a sister for Karlee. I am just having a hard time making the jump to 5. Not sure what Jeff wanted when he was young? Probably didn't care because he is a guy. He is all for having more now though. It is hard for me to believe that Joe only wanted 1!

What a fun question. Two. I think were I younger I would go for a third. But at 38 I think I am done. The little ones require so much energy. But I do have two friends who are 43 and having #3 right now. So it isn't over til it's over!
