JOB NEWS!!!

Joe interviewed for a job on Thursday and Friday he got the call that told him he got the job!! We are so excited because now we get to stay in our house and in the area we love. His first day of work is on monday-which is also the first day of school-which is also my birthday!!! We are really excited to finally be able to tell everyone we are here to stay. On a side note- i got called to be one of the Beehive advisors in my ward-there are 16 girls..so things can get pretty crazy real fast. My first MIA night was last wednesday and we did a sleepover at this amazing 6-7 car garage home -the girls were ectstatic to stay there. I ofcourse didn't stay the night-due to having to be home to feed Brooke-but I heard they were up at all hours..not surprising.

One of my Favorite Things!!!

Mountain Madness Soap Company makes the best handmade soaps I have ever tried. I came across them at a mall in Spokane when I lived there. They don't only smell fabulous but they are so beautiful. They last longer than I had thought they would when I first tried them. They are so much fun too-you can buy one bar and cut off smaller chunks of it for your kids to use-or to share with friends. I am now hooked..the lavender is heavenly...i mean it smells like what lavender should smell like. My expectation level now of anything else to smell "lavender" has been raised by this bar of soap. Now that my stock is out.. i am having withdrawals. Thankfully they have an online store..yeah!!! These soaps really make me feel pampered. And they aren't all that expensive either--especially when you think how long it takes to make each one..six weeks..yikes.
Ones I have tried so far : Organic Lavender, Lilacs in Bloom, Raw Almonds
Ones I can't wait to try: Lemon Peel, Blackberry Jasmine
My favorite: Organic Lavender-just look how pretty it is!!

Amber's Birthday Party

The Theme for Amber's party was carnival so we had:
Pin the nose on the clown, a bean bag toss, face painting and a balloon pop.

Some of the balloons were a little tricky to pop!!
We made balloon figures for all of the kids-here is a picture of them-so fun they were all looking at Amber and she was grinning so big! Opening presents-one of many. It was a fun day for everyone!
The few remaining balloon animals left over.

Happy Birthday Amber!!!!

Amber turned 4 today-I can't believe how fast time has passed by. It's fun to remember when she was born and the suprise of red hair she had. So far she was my best baby..but then again so far she has been my worst toddler. Funny how that happens. Oh well- We were lucky that grandma and grandpa were here to celebrate her birthday with our family. Amber has her first birthday party with friends on Tuesday and she is super anxious for it-i took her around last week to pass out invitations and she literally jumped up and down while passing them out. I will try to post pictures of it later-if i get a chance to take any, that is.

Not an experience everyone gets to have.

I feel extremely lucky to live where I do for this reason: My family was able to go to the Twin Falls, Idaho Temple open house. As we took the girls in I realized that the next time they each would be able to come inside and view it like they had today will be when after they each get ready to take out their endowment. Ofcourse when they turn 12 and are worthy to, they will get to go inside and do baptisms-but they will be limited to what rooms they can enter. It was so exciting for Whitney to see the inside of a temple and learn what each rooms purpose is. Amber loved the flowers and the chandeliers. And it felt special to let them each look through the mirrors in the sealing room. It was a neat experience and was a wonderful end to our visit there.

Backyard Fun

Here are some more pictures of the girls playing outside in the water. The girls couldn't wait for the water to warm in the pool before starting their fun so it was a little short-lived. The sprinklers came on while we were out and they thought that was fun-except Brooke.
