Job Searching

Joe came home early from work on Wednesday with not too unexpected news..he was laid off. Luckily we hadn't put in new carpet in the house so we have a reserve-our biggest worry is Joe's health insurance-he has to have it. If you will please pray for us that we might find a job soon and that it will have benefits-at least for Joe. In the meantime we will finish tiling in our front rooms. We have already bought the materials-and ripped up the floor-so if we have to sell the house, it will help that the tile will be completed. It is a dissapointment I know for my parents-as we probably won't be coming home for Thanksgiving due to wanting to keep our expenses to a minimum. We do have a lot to be thankful for. I am most thankful for Faith. It has sustained our family through it's ups and downs. And I can't help but feel that as it says in the scriptures-all things will work towards our good, talking about or afflictions. It is a comfort and I feel that this was a necessary occurance for us-not something to feel upset and mad about. Just another stepping stone to make us stronger and test us. And maybe there will be a company out there that needs Joe more right now-or a better job for us possibly. One way or the other-we have traveled down this road before and know that it will all work out in the end.

Arin, I am so sorry to hear the news!! I will pray that you find a job soon!! I have also found that through our afflictions we will be made stronger, if we let them!! Keep doing the right things, as you are, and the Lord will take care of your family!! You're an amazing woman!

I am sorry to hear that things are not going so great professionally at the moment for Joe. I hope that he will find something soon! You are trying to stay positive, and that's great!

Oh no! That's got to be so frustrating. You seem to have the right attitude about it, but it's still hard. I'm sure things will work out sometime, and regardless you will be stronger people because of it. Good luck!

I am so sorry you guys. It is so frustrating, we know. You will be in our prayers. If you want to try it out down here in Texas the economy is booming after the hurricane. Lots of jobs and lots of work to rebuild the area. Good luck.
